High-quality laboratory tests always express harmonious cooperation between clinical medicine, the patient, and the laboratory. Sampling and transporting the sample, analysis, laboratory medical interpretation, and even the transfer of results to clinical practice are complex processes. We have introduced a complete quality management system to make this process more transparent, eliminate possible sources of error, and prepare the laboratory findings correctly and reliably.

Since 2012, Diagnostiki Athinon has installed and operated the ISO 9001:2008 quality system, consistently following European quality guidelines. In 2018, the quality system was updated to ISO 9001:2015 (Certificate Number 6133.159/18) and certified by EQA Hellas for all laboratory activities. Since its establishment, the laboratory has continuously participated in Interlaboratory Quality Control Schemes (External Quality Control) and specialized Quality Controls.
